The Oklahoma subcontractor agreement is a binding agreement linking both contractor and subcontractor. The subcontractor is to assist in providing their expertise with an ongoing project the contractor is working on. The hiring contractor is to ensure all work from the subcontractor is not only up to par, but all liabilities, expenses, and payments are accounted for.

State Definition (§ 61-222(7-8)) – “Subcontractor” means any entity that has a direct contract with a prime contractor to perform a portion of the work under a construction contract; and
