The North Dakota employment contract legally binds an employee with their new employer. The agreement is a detailed outline of the position and role and its expectations. In return, the employer will exchange the agreed-upon payment, as well as benefits. Depending on the position the employee may receive more incentives such as company equity, PTO, health insurance, etc. When terms are met and finalized, the employee can begin working.

Minimum Wage – $7.25/ hour (34-06-22(1(c))
Independent Contractor Agreement – Reflects the agreement between an independent contractor and client for services in exchange for payment.
Non-Compete Agreement – Protects an employer’s business, confidential information, customers and client by prohibiting competition from any employee.
Non-Disclosure Agreement – When the receiving end of a party agrees to not disclose any acquired privileged information.
Subcontractor Agreement – Implemented by a contractor for a subcontractor in order to assist in completing a substantial project.
