The Nebraska subcontractor agreement enables a contractor to recruit a subcontractor to assist with an ongoing project. The contract establishes the prediscussed terms on what the kind of services or products the subcontractor will provide. Because they are a 1099 employee, the subcontractor is to seek its payment and duties solely through the contractor.

State Definition (§ 45-1202(6)) – Subcontractor means a person or an entity that has contracted to furnish labor or materials to, or performed labor or supplied materials for, a contractor or another subcontractor in connection with a contract to improve real property.
