The New York subcontractor agreement is a document that is used to hire a subcontractor to take part in an ongoing assignment. The agreement describes the kind of service or product the subcontractor would provide. As well as overseeing the subcontractors work, the primary contractor is to make sure all payments be made on time.

State Definition (§ 756(4)) – “Subcontractor” means to perform a portion of work pursuant to a construction contract.
