The Kentucky subcontractor agreement is a union between both contractor and subcontractor. Hired to assist in the completion of a service or project, the document will outline all responsibilities obliged. As they are a 1099-employee, the agreement is solely between the subcontractor and hiring party. Once the job is complete, the contractor will render payment for the services.

State Definition (§ 45.560(4)) – “Subcontractor” means any person, including a corporation, partnership, or business association of any kind, who holds an agreement or purchase order to perform all or any part of the work or to make or furnish any article or service required for the performance of a negotiated contract or of a subcontract entered thereunder;
