The North Dakota independent contractor agreement is used to establish the relationship between an independent contractor and a client. Once it has been filled out, the form will reflect the agreed services that the contractor will perform and how much the client will pay them when the work is completed. The document also includes clauses that define the contractor’s independent status and additional terms that the client may wish to add to the contract, such as confidentiality clauses, insurance requirements, and options to terminate the agreement. Both parties must sign the agreement for it to be considered legal.
