Minnesota independent contractor agreements are contracts that are drafted by a contractor and their client. The agreement must describe the services that the contractor is hired to perform and the payment they will receive upon the contract’s completion. In addition to specifying the independent contractor’s status, the document includes a confidentiality clause that forbids them from revealing trade secrets or other confidential information. The contract should also specify whether the client or the contractor will be responsible for paying any expenses incurred during the completion of the project.
