The Louisiana independent contractor agreement is used to manage the contractual relationship between a contractor and the client for whom they will be working. Executing the agreement enables the hiring party to define their terms in a clear manner to be reviewed by the contractor. In the document, the client can specify the responsibilities to be assumed by the contractor as well as the compensation afforded upon completion of the services. Other provisions such as insurance policies can be included in the contract so long as both parties consent to the conditions.
