The Illinois independent contractor agreement outlines an arrangement between two (2) parties in which one (1) party, the contractor, agrees to accept payment in exchange for the services they offer. The hiring client can use the agreement to specify a variety of terms which determine how the job shall be managed during the worker’s contractual obligation to the client. The terms will include general provisions such as the contractor’s pay and responsibilities, but will also cover more in-depth provisions such as dispute resolution and confidentiality clauses. Upon each party signing the agreement, the document will be official and the contractor will be bound to the terms prescribed by the client.
