The Idaho independent contractor agreement is used to define operating conditions established by a client who wishes to hire a contractor. Use of this document is beneficial to both the client and contractor as it provides written proof of the agreed-upon duties, payment, expenses, termination policies and other conditions which will define the business relationship. In addition to operating procedures, the agreement indicates to the government that the contractor is indeed serving the client independently and, therefore, shall have no portion of their salary deducted by the client for tax purposes.
