The Oregon subcontractor agreement establishes the kind of work a subcontractor will provide for an ongoing project on behalf of the hiring contractor. The primary contractor is responsible for all expenses, liabilities and, payments for the subcontractor.

State Definition (§ 701.410(1)(d)) -“Subcontractor” means a person that contracts with a contractor or another subcontractor on predetermined terms to be responsible for performing all or part of a job of construction in accordance with established specifications or plans.
