The Alabama independent contractor agreement is between an individual or company, known as the “client”, that enters into an agreement with a contractor for services to be performed. Except for cases such as an attorney, most independent contractor agreements are paid for specific services and not by the hour. The agreement includes options for the client to keep any information made known by the contractor confidential in addition to non-compete sections to prevent the contractor from working with any competitor of the client.
